E-Commerce Terms and Conditions for Stjerne Camping

Terms of Sale and Delivery
Below you will find useful information regarding the use of online booking. Among other things, you can read about how we process the information you enter, how you receive your receipt for a purchase, and much more.

Payment
All prices stated in the online booking system, as well as on all other parts of the website, are listed in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT and all applicable taxes unless this was aktive  chosen otherwise and thereby clearly stated in the given situation.

Payment is made using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards in the online booking system, including Dankort, Visa, MasterCard, and Diners.

Information on Online Transactions
You can safely shop online through our booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected against any misuse of your credit card on the internet, and there is no liability for unauthorized use of your payment card online. Shipping and Delivery
When booking and paying for a cabin, a pitch for your own tent, motorhome, or caravan, you will receive a contract for the selected pitch, which will include a summary of your purchase. The contract will be sent via email immediately after the purchase if the correct email address has been provided by the buyer.
Delivery of the booked product takes place upon arrival on the specified check-in date, from 12:00 noon at the earliest (and ends on the departure date at the latest by 12:00 noon). Both times will be specified in the aforementioned contract.

Right of Withdrawal and Refund
You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:
A mandatory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to online purchases. Therefore, the full amount will be refunded within the first 14 days after booking.

Cancellation Protection – Security in Case of Illness
Cancellation insurance is the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend purchasing a standard travel insurance policy through a chosen insurance company (as rental fees are typically refunded with a valid medical certificate, etc.). Paid rental fees will not be refunded except under the circumstances outlined in our terms and conditions.

Cancellation Without Cancellation Protection:
Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival – full refund minus an administration fee of DKK 500.
Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival – 50% refund minus an administration fee of DKK 500.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival – no refund.

A reservation fee of DKK 100 applies to telephone bookings, along with a deposit of DKK 500.
(The DKK 500 will be converted to an administration fee if the buyer does not arrive.)

Registration of Information
Stjerne Camping registers your name, address, email, and other details provided during the purchase process in its customer database.
This information is not shared with third parties but is retained by Stjerne Camping for five years.
Stjerne Camping uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the safety of the information you provide on the website.
For payments made with a credit card, registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being transmitted over the internet.

Complaint Handling
If you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase and you have not received an error message from the system, you can contact us via the email address or phone number listed below.

Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself, or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after discovering the error or when it should reasonably have been noticed by reviewing your contract. You can submit a complaint in writing or verbally.

When Stjerne Camping receives your complaint about a product, it will be processed as soon as possible. Stjerne Camping will determine whether the product should be refunded, exchanged, or if a price reduction should be offered.
