INTERNET

HOLIDAY WITH FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS

Whether you’re camping or staying in a cabin, a warm welcome awaits! A dedicated dog area, agility course, and dog wash make holidaying together a little easier—and great sniffing walks await right outside the site. Just remember your leash, waste bags, and good doggy manners. Here, having four legs and a completely open holiday schedule is perfectly fine.

Waste with care

We sort because it makes sense. Check the signs, use the right bins – but don’t worry, they tell you exactly what goes where. Small sorting, big difference – a huge THANK YOU.

Campsite rules

Room for everyone – with respect for one another

We share the campsite.

Be considerate, help one another – and remember that not everyone is an equally experienced camper. We have all been beginners at some point.

Wild Neighbors

Roe deer, red deer, hares, and other wild animals are not fed. They have their own diet and manage perfectly well on their own.

Room for play

Boisterous play belongs in the designated play and activity areas. Moon-cars may be ridden on the site’s roads, but they must not be taken on excursions outside the grounds.

Free passage

Roadways and access to EV charging stations must always be kept clear. One motor vehicle per rented unit – the rest must wait off to the side.

Electric power on wheels

Electric and hybrid cars are charged at the charging stations in front of reception – not at the parking space. Just as fossil-fuel cars are refueled outside at the gas station.

Water in the right place

Greywater and blackwater are emptied at the motorhome service station – the earth says thank you.

Smoking

Not in communal buildings or service facilities. Put your cigarette butts in the bin, please – nature doesn’t smoke.

Dog waste bags

Free of charge at several locations on the site. Dispose of used bags directly in the general waste container—never in the service building. We want to keep both areas free of unpleasant surprises.

And then, the most important thing

Follow the staff’s instructions, take responsibility for yourselves and your guests – and feel free to share a smile.

Any items brought onto the campsite by the guest remain the responsibility and at the risk of the renter, including damage to other parties and property.

Rental Terms and Conditions

Stjerne Campings rental terms and conditions

  1. The rental agreement applies only to the persons listed in the agreement. Children over the age of 18 are not automatically covered by the rental agreement; however, they may be included for an agreed fixed additional fee. The caravan must not be older than a 2003 model, and it is not possible to take over a caravan already on the site that predates this year.
  2. Taking up permanent residence at the campsite is not permitted, nor is registering one’s address at the site in the national civil register. The site may be used for leisure, holidays, weekends, and public holidays.
  3. If you need urgent assistance between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, please call +45 75277054; the camp manager will provide guidance and, if necessary, remotely operate the entrance barrier.
  4. Please also refer to the camping regulations, our general site rules, and the price list, which are updated annually and as needed. It is the renter’s responsibility to stay informed about current rules. The renter is required to notify the campsite of any changes to their address, email, telephone number, etc.
  5. The landlord reserves the right to modify the current price list at any time. Any changes will be communicated via a digital newsletter, as well as through notices at the reception and on the website.
  6. It is the tenant’s own responsibility to subscribe to the campsite’s newsletter. You can sign up at reception; please note that newsletters may sometimes end up in your spam or junk mail folder.
  7. The rent for the seasonal pitch itself (including add-ons such as dogs) must be paid no later than the first day of the season, in accordance with the current price list.
  8. Electric and hybrid vehicles must not be charged using the power outlets on the site. A fee of at least DKK 1,000 applies to such violations. Please use the charging stations in front of the reception.
  9. Electricity packages of 50 kWh or 100 kWh are purchased in advance. Unused electricity is non-refundable. Our electronic electricity meters automatically track consumption. Electricity usage can be monitored via the c-wallet web app. The tenant is responsible for purchasing a new electricity package in a timely manner. Any additional meters serve solely as the tenant’s own backup.
  10. Connecting to the electricity supply is always the tenant’s own responsibility. The campsite cannot be held liable for any power outages or similar incidents.
  11. If the payment terms are not met, the campsite manager is entitled to terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect, cf. clauses 25–27.
  12. The landlord may terminate the rental agreement in the event of difficulties regarding the working relationship. Should the tenant decide to leave the campsite before the agreed time, the tenant cannot claim a refund of any part of the rent.
  13. The tenant is required to register both day guests and overnight guests upon their arrival. Overnight guests must pay the standard overnight fee.
  14. Day visitors are not permitted to drive into the campsite but must park in the designated parking area outside. Day visitors remaining on the premises after 11:00 PM are considered overnight guests and will be charged the standard overnight fee.
  15. Dogs are permitted on the premises, subject to the current price list. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and exercised outside the campsite or in the designated dog-walking area. Dog waste must be picked up.
  16. The provided containers are for general household waste only. Food waste, paper/cardboard, food and beverage cartons, mixed plastics, glass/bottles, metal cans, and residual waste must be sorted into the designated containers. Tenants are responsible for taking other types of waste (e.g., hazardous waste, chairs, refrigerators, carpets, caravan awnings, etc.) to the recycling center themselves. Batteries, small electrical items, etc., can be disposed of at the environmental station located at the far end of the supermarket parking lot. The container area is under video surveillance.
  17. During the rental period, the tenant is entitled to use the seasonal pitch (subject to spacing and positioning regulations) to set up a tent, a caravan with an awning, or (not and) a motorhome. Only one car may be parked on the seasonal pitch at a time. Trailers and similar items may only be brought onto and kept at the seasonal pitch with prior approval from the campsite manager (subject to spacing and positioning regulations).
  18. The rented site must at all times be kept in a natural, neat, and tidy condition. Grass cutting is the responsibility of the tenant. Cf. clauses 34–51.
  19. Taking shortcuts through planted areas and fences is not permitted; roads and paths must be used.
  20. All driving of motor vehicles within the campsite is prohibited between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. At other times, a general speed limit of 15 km/h applies, and we ask that you refrain from unnecessary driving.
  21. The campsite’s general rules of conduct must be observed. These rules are available at the campsite (and under the site’s rules here on the website).
  22. If the caravan is not registered, it must be enrolled in the ID number scheme. This can be done at the reception for a fee.
  23. The landlord reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement with three months’ notice. The tenant may be required to move to another unit within the campsite (e.g., in connection with work being carried out on the premises). In such cases, the landlord will always endeavor to provide as much notice as possible.
  24. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the seasonal pitch must be cleared, cleaned, and maintained by the tenant by the date the rental agreement expires. If the tenant fails to carry out the necessary work, the campsite manager is entitled to have it done, and a fixed minimum fee of DKK 600 will be charged to the tenant. If the lack of maintenance necessitates work exceeding one hour, an additional DKK 600 will be charged for each hour or part thereof.
  25. The following are considered material breaches of the rental agreement:
Failure by the tenant, their household, or their guests to comply with the provisions of “Stjerne Camping’s Rental Terms” and the “Park Rules”.
Failure to make timely payment of the amounts stipulated in the agreement. (An additional administrative fee of DKK 150, plus any applicable costs, will be added to the outstanding amount if reminders are issued.)
The above list of what constitutes a material breach is illustrative only and is not exhaustive.
  26. In the event of a material breach, the campsite manager is entitled to immediately evict the tenant from the campsite and terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect. Should the tenant owe any amount in connection with the termination or expiration of the rental agreement, the campsite manager reserves the right—in addition to taking standard legal action—to exercise a right of retention over the tenant’s caravan until the outstanding claim has been settled. (However, this is conditional upon the tenant having been unsuccessfully requested, with eight days’ notice, to pay the outstanding amount, collect the caravan, and clear the seasonal pitch.)
As a final measure, the lessor reserves the right to move the caravan to a public area and hand the matter over to the police.
  27. Any dispute arising between the parties in connection with this agreement shall be settled by the court in Esbjerg.
  28. All amounts include 25% VAT. Subject to increases in VAT and other taxes/duties.

Mobilitetskrav til campingvogn

  1. The towing gear must be functional and securely mounted on the caravan.
  2. The caravan must be movable at all times. For example, anti-theft devices must not be used on the caravan’s drawbar, as the lessor must be able to move the caravan in the event of an emergency.
  3. The caravan must be fitted with functional rims and tires.
  4. Blocking up the caravan’s steady legs is permitted.
  5. Apart from a potential awning that can be quickly removed, there must be no extensions—whether small or large—or wind-sheltering structures made of materials such as wood, waterproof plywood, or the like.

Indretning af enhedsplads

  1. Keep your pitch natural, simple, and tidy—less is more (max. 4 pots/decorations); if in doubt, ask the campsite manager. Maintain your own pitch: clear away debris and mow the grass. Access must always be possible behind the pitches, between them, and along all roadways.
  2. You must stay within the boundaries of your assigned pitch—meaning you must not extend onto the road or onto a neighbor’s pitch. Additionally, you must comply with fire safety regulations requiring a minimum distance of 3 meters from your neighbor [your belongings—such as your caravan, awning, or utility tent—are considered a single unit, as are your neighbor’s]. (Need help with correct positioning? Ask to see our site layout plans.)
  3. The caravan, awning, utility tent, and other installations must be placed at least 1.5 meters from the center of the windbreak, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the landlord.
  4. As a general rule, the landlord is responsible for trimming and pruning the campsite’s windbreaks and other communal plantings to ensure a neat, well-maintained, and uniform appearance. Consequently, the tenant must ensure unobstructed access to windbreaks and plantings so that necessary maintenance can be performed. Caravans, awnings, utility tents, windbreaks, furniture, storage units, and other items must not obstruct access. Typically, the landlord trims and prunes hedges and trees in the autumn but reserves the right to carry out additional maintenance as needed.
  5. You are not permitted, without prior agreement with the landlord, to prune, fell, or alter existing vegetation, carry out major trimming of windbreaks, or establish new plantings on or near the unit.
  6. If the landlord is unable to carry out necessary maintenance due to a lack of access or the need to move items, a fee of DKK 600 per visit plus DKK 600 per hour of work commenced may be charged.
  7. Electrical cables and the like must be visible and positioned so that they can be easily identified during routine maintenance. Any damage to concealed or inadequately marked installations is the tenant’s sole responsibility and expense. For instance, if electrical cables are damaged due to a lack of visibility, this shall never give rise to a claim for compensation against the landlord.
  8. The renter is responsible for the electrical cable connecting the caravan to the power supply box. An approved camping cable must be used; it must have a maximum length of 25 meters, a conductor cross-section of at least 2.5 mm², and be fitted with waterproof blue CEE plugs at both ends. Furthermore, the cable must be approved for outdoor use and must never be coiled during use to prevent overheating.
  9. If the landlord is compelled to contact an electrician or tradesperson and a fault is found in the tenant’s electrical cable, caravan, etc., the cost is to be borne by the tenant.
  10. Any screening, fencing, etc., must consist of windbreaks made from suitable textile material in calm, natural (earth) tones (black, brown, grey, moss green, etc.). Wooden structures are not permitted. Winds in Vejers can be strong and snowfall heavy; therefore, always ensure windbreaks and tents have sufficient load-bearing capacity and are securely anchored. We recommend removing summer awnings and windbreak structures during the winter season—meaning that if the windbreak is taken down, the associated poles or pegs must also be removed.
  11. Pegs must not go deeper than 30 cm into the ground.
  12. Please contact the campsite manager before setting up any dog fencing. The following types of dog fencing are permitted (provided they contain no woodwork and do not exceed a height of 1 meter): mesh dog fences or camping dog fences, rigid metal or plastic fence sections, and windbreaks in subdued, earthy tones. Fences and windbreaks must be installed neatly and securely and maintained regularly; worn-out, makeshift “good-enough” DIY solutions are not accepted.
  13. If you are unable to personally monitor your unit, dog fence, or windbreak on an ongoing basis, we ask that you remove them during extended absences or the winter season.
  14. A fixed, permanent groundsheet is permitted only inside the awning. Any other type of ground covering outside the awning—such as a mat or similar—must be removed when the pitch is not being used for overnight stays.
  15. Antennas may only be installed if they are attached to the caravan. They must not extend more than 1 meter above the caravan. Any flagpole must be lower than the height of the caravan. The flag must be taken down when the renter leaves the campsite.
  16. Upon termination of the lease agreement, the tenant must clear the assigned site. The tenant shall fill in any holes and mow the grass as necessary. (Cf. clause 24)
  17. If the rules regarding the maintenance and layout of the pitch are not observed, the campsite manager may charge the camper a fee and set a deadline for rectification.
  18. After signing the contract, you are personally responsible for checking for any new updates to StjerneCamping’s rental terms and conditions. The latest updates can always be found at www.stjernecamping/fastligger-lejebetingelser.
