Two wheels, fresh air and West Jutland

From quiet walks through the countryside to mountain biking on the trails in the area and longer trips along the West Coast – there are great opportunities to experience Vejers and the surrounding area from the saddle.

The Star Routes

The West Coast Route

560 km along the West Coast from Rudbøl in the south to Skagen in the north. An obvious option if you want to experience West Jutland a little more than just from the car window.

The panoramic routes

16 round trips along the west coast of Jutland between 20 and 50 km. The routes follow or are close to the West Coast Route and can therefore be combined with it – or cycled as independent trips.

Our local panoramic route is called Naturpark Vesterhavet. It is 26 km long and goes through the beautiful moorland landscape north of Stjerne Camping.

A campsite with space for cyclists

Bed & Bike

At Stjerne Camping in Vejers, it should be nice to be there – even when you come by bike. That’s why we have a special area for overnight cyclists, close to kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities. Here you can pitch your tent and have your bike right next to it.

If you prefer a little more comfort, our cabins can of course also be rented for one (just ask at reception) or several nights.

As a cyclist, you have, among other things:

Possibility to dry clothes and equipment
Possibility to have your bike locked up
Tools for minor repairs – if your bike is having trouble
Help with transportation to the nearest bike repair shop – if it is having trouble a little more
Possibility to rent a bike in Blåvand with delivery and pickup at Stjerne Camping
Possibility to buy provisions for the trip in Vejers Supermarket
Coffee and rolls in the supermarket – so the day can get off to a good start
Information material and bike map for the trip

And yes – it is of course FREE to bring your bike.

From the bike saddle to star camping

A bike trip is not just about kilometers and routes. It’s also about where you land afterwards.

At Stjerne Camping you can come with a bike and tent, settle in the shelter or choose a cabin – and maybe stay a few days longer. You can also come with your camper and bike on the luggage rack, or just find a spot and take the days as they come.
